Md. Rashedul Hasan has been working for NIRAPAD since 18 May 2022. Mr. Hasan has around 8 years of progressive professional experience in the field of humanitarian and development action. Particularly, he is experienced in Project Management with a demonstrated history of working in the non-profit organization management industry. He is skilled in Proposal Writing, Knowledge Management, CC & DRR program implementation, Non-profit Program Development, Research, and Community Development.
Mr. Hasan obtained his bachelor degree in Biotechnology and Genetic Engineering. Later on he obtained his MS degree in Disaster Management from DU. Prior to joining NIRAPAD, he has worked for DUS, NAHAB and DAM in different roles and responsibilities.
Md Asaduzzaman has joined to the NIRAPAD as Manager-Finance and Administration on 15 November, 2020. He has completed Master's of Business Administration (MBA) in Finance from Northwestern University Khulna, Bangladesh. He also obtains Mater’s in Commerce (M.Com) Accounting form Jagannath University, Dhaka. He has more than fifteen year’s work experiences in Account’s, Finance and Administration. He has worked as an Assistant Manager-Finance & Administration at Transparency International Bangladesh (TIB). Prior to this, he worked as an Accountant in Dhaka Ahsania Mission.
Md Ariful Islam has been working for NIRAPAD since 17 September 2024. Mr. Islam has around 4 years of progressive professional experience in the field of disaster management and geospatial analysis. He is particularly experienced in research and data analysis with a demonstrated history of working in academia and various humanitarian projects. He is skilled in GIS-based mapping, data collection, and analysis, as well as disaster risk reduction (DRR) program assessments.
Mr. Islam obtained both his B.Sc. and M.Sc. degrees in Geography and Environment from Jahangirnagar University. Prior to joining NIRAPAD, he worked with organizations such as FAO-Bangladesh and CARE Bangladesh, contributing to various projects related to geospatial research and disaster management.
Md. Abdul Khaleque has been working for NIRAPAD since 9 April 2023. Mr. Khaleque has around one year of progressive professional experience in the field of humanitarian and knowledge-based organization. Particularly, he is experienced in Information Management in disaster management and humanitarian sector. He is skilled in Proposal Writing, Knowledge Management, CC & DRR program implementation, Research Methodology, Community based Disaster Management, GIS and Remote Sensing, and Disaster statistics.
Mr. Khaleque Completed his Bachelor degree in Disaster and Human Security Management from Bangladesh University of Professionals.
Raihan Riaz is a research associate at the Network for Information, Response, and Preparedness Activities on Disaster (NIRAPAD). He has also contributed significantly to the Asiatic Society of Bangladesh (ASB), working on various climate change-induced loss, damage, and human displacement projects. His research interests encompass migration, disaster risk perceptions, hazards such as landslides, floods, and flash floods, susceptibility analysis, and landslide resilience. His commitment to disaster risk reduction (DRR) aligns with his vision of fostering a more resilient and environmentally sustainable future for communities worldwide.
Raihan possesses a robust skill set in research tools and methodologies. He is proficient in SPSS, KoBo Toolbox, GIS, Remote Sensing (RS), NVivo, and Microsoft Office applications. Raihan Riaz’s expertise in diverse aspects of research equips him to handle complex, multidisciplinary projects, particularly in research protocol preparation, data analysis, modeling, reporting, and stakeholder coordination, contributing to the comprehensive execution of complex research and development projects. Each aspect of his expertise is critical in ensuring his research outcomes' quality, accuracy, and relevance.
Mr. Raihan completed his BSc and MSc (thesis) degrees in geography and environment from Jagannath University, Dhaka.
